Where were you born?  Right here in HOUSTON .  I love this place!  After college, moved to Orlando to work for the famous mouse...there for ten years.  Back home now for a little over three years.

What are your favorite things about Houston ?  The Astrodome, the Rodeo, the GREAT restaurants and always having something happening on the weekends.  One of the saddest things about Houston is driving by the empty field that was once AstroWorld.  Worked there for twelve years from 1981-2002...had a BLAST! 

What do you like best about being an on-air personality?  There is just something about it...maybe the adrenaline rush of turning on the microphone and talking.  Once it is in your "blood", you can't live without it.  I listen all week (at my "real" job and in my car)...then, I get to come work here on the weekends.  I am a country music fan and really like working with everyone here.

How long have you worked in radio?  About 8 years.  How long at The New 93Q?  Almost a year.

Why did you decide to get into radio?  Really, for fun!  I had a friend that was in radio and he seemed to have fun doing it.  When you start in radio and have no experience, there are PLENTY of weekend overnight shifts.  Even those Saturday and Sunday 12:00 midnight to 6:00 am shifts were fun!

How did you get into radio?  Worked with my friend to make an audition tape (it was probably pretty bad).  Left it for the Program Director and waited a few months until the call came.  I was pretty lucky!

Where have you worked in radio?   MIX 105.1 in Orlando for a few years, then at two of our sister stations in Orlando , Newstalk AM 580-WDBO and K92FM for a few years.  Now here at The New 93Q.

Who are your favorite performers or bands?  Rascal Flatts, Garth Brooks , Brad Paisley, and Pat Green.  Also, I can't live without some of the classic music from the legends in country music...Dolly Parton, The Oak Ridge Boys, and Alabama . 

What do you watch on TV?  ER (after a few so-so years, the past few have been great!), Two and a Half Men and Deal or No Deal.

What are your hobbies?  Watching and following NASCAR and the Houston Astro's and doing my best to spoil my two nieces that live in Conroe (Reagan and Brooklyn ).
